Hello,
I thought I would be helpful and post the easy resolution I found to a problem that had frustrated me for some time in the hopes that it will save some others the time and headache. While it was easy for me to connect my laptop to the networked printer here at the office, for some reason I was never able to print documents. Whenever I tried to print from OO, I saw there were no printers listed in the print page, even though I was able to install the printer and successfully print test pages (from the Add Printer in Windows). When I tried to enter OO printer settings I kept getting the classic "No Default Pinter Found' message". Today I thought I would try to workaround by exporting my OO document to a Adobe PDF and print it that way. But still I was baffled because then I was getting an error from Adobe that said: "Before you can perform print-related tasks such as page setup or printing a document, you need to install a printer." Please help. I didn't find the right solution from the Internet. References:- https://forum.openoffice.org/en/forum/vi...15&t=67531 IT Security animated Video Thanks |
